Good Luck Year of Snake 吉祥平安

The Malaysian PM is giving his luck to everyone watching his video and we welcome it. Instead of embracing luck, Najib is kind enough to give it away and hopefully he still keeps some for his coming general election. His son also wishes us ‘peace for all seasons’.

Najib and son seem to be more ‘culture’ than our million dollar ministers and sons. I doubt children of our ministers can speak Mandarin as good as the son of Najib. Yes, it is a political propaganda but even that it is still better than many of our political campaigns, culturally speaking!

马来西亚首相纳吉祝福我们吉祥如意，他的儿子则祝福我们四季平安，当然，还有大家都希望得到的恭喜发财。纳吉在政治大海啸来临前，还不忘给人祝福，当然有其政治目的。

作为外人，我们只能拿他的吉祥，收他的平安祝福。马来西亚是否会变天，那是马来西亚选民的决定和权力，就像新加坡的人口政策，当然也应该是新加坡选民说了才算数。

Sub-standard PAP and the Singapore education system

I make a 'policy shift' when I hear the debate of right politics, constructive politics and sub-standard opposition. EBRC objectives: Stop “Out of Aljunied”, Stop SDP Breakthrough and “Negative-Asset” Ministers.

First of all, we have to congratulate the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee for creating more competitions, especially, multi-cornered competitions in the East. When making changes, EBRC aims to achieve 3 goals: To prevent “Out of Aljunied” for Workers’ Party. This is the most important objective. To prevent Singapore Democratic Party making any breakthrough in the North and Central. To look for a solution to retire “negative-asset” ministers or reduce PAP damages. From the reported claims from different political parties, we will expect multi-cornered contests not only in single constituencies but also in group representative constituencies. The PAP hopes to have a repeat of 2011 Presidential Election. Then Tony Tan won the Presidency when he got only 35% of the votes, a narrow win.However, a win is still a win.
